The Tulip Series of paintings (oil on canvas) is an experimental body of work which explores difference through the significance of colour.
Each canvas presents the same arrangement of tulips in a vase. The repetition of composition encourages the viewer to consider the alternative palettes which differentiate the work.
The colours do not exist in isolation but in relationship with each other.
